Shasta Studios was founded in 2024 as a passion project with the goal to revive the golden age of the 2000s internet through a socially connected virtual open world, faithful to the VRML and Flash communities of the time. Our team's background includes leading teams at AAA game studios, cloud providers and design agencies.
We are hard at work and currently testing an internal Alpha release, with the goal to launch to the public in late 2025, initially for iOS. Check back for our project roadmap and developer blog, or reach out to us if you are interested in getting involved in the project.
